A-10 Warthog ARF with Ducted Fans

Known as the Warthog because of its unusual shape, the A-10 is the first Air Force jet specially designed for close ground support. Its armed with Maverick and Sidewinder missiles and 30mm Gatling guns that can fire nearly 4000 rounds a minute. It comes in "low and slow", allowing it to sneak up on ground targets like tanks and other armored vehicles. Since first being deployed in 1976, the A-10 has proven to be formidable against surface forces.
